Meet the teacher

Liam Hennelly

With over twenty years of experience teaching chemistry, Liam has various qualifications, including an honours degree in biochemistry (NUIG) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from the University of Wales. Liam is also an experienced examiner, and his mantra is "there is no substitute for hard work".

In his classes, Liam uses live annotations while talking through a concept to keep you focused and uses everyday analogies to explain abstract concepts and make them relatable. Having also been the Science Department Curriculum Coordinator for his school, Liam is well-versed in the curriculum and will guide you through it expertly to prepare you for the exams ahead.
